Software Raid Mirror

I know this will probably never make it on the list, but it's something I'm thinking about doing myself and was thinking a nice front end UI would be cool.

What programs would you recommend for software raid and are there any "gotchas" with the software raid and Iworx?

No gotchas that I'm aware of Justec and we'll consider the RAID front-end.

I don't know, I have seen a lot of systems hang because they were using software RAID.

I have been using software raid for a few months now without any problems. Although my system is more powerful than I need so that might be why. If it had a huge load for the CPU I can see where having an independant hardware raid would be needed.
