Resolve DNS Names

Hi all,

If I understand it correctly, the package option "Resolve DNS Names" enables or disables reverse DNS lookup of IP addresses. How is this feature implemented? Is the DNS lookup made when statistics are generated (possibly using some long-time cache of successfull queries to speed up the look up and reduce server load) or made in realtime when requests are serviced (which might slow down the services). Does this option apply to web service only, or some other services (e.g. FTP etc.)?

I beleive it means it will resolve IP addresses to host names when the logs are processed. Real-time resolving is disabled by default on all accounts.
