  • Custom backup engine?

    Hi,

Can I write a custom backup engine for InterWorx? Personally i really like duply (based on ftplicity) to my backups, because of the incremental mode and the encryption. There is any documentation about how to write a custom backup engine for InterWorx?

    Thanks,
    Robert

I'm not sure if there are any DOCs available but we where thinking of doing a plugin (for our own usage) for using BACKUPPC as the backup engine.

Plugins would definitely be the way to go at the moment. The documentation can be found here. If you run into any issues (or want to show off your finished plugin!), be sure to let us know!

I checked the source of the R1Soft Backup plugin, but it's not a real backup plugin only an interface for the service. The plugin system allows me to create a custom engine and use the cron system to schedule?
