  • ClamAV broken - Stopped incoming emails

    Bit of a odd one this morning. Incoming emails have been affected and It seems to be down to ClamAV. Looking at the log file for this morning its just full of:

    Fri Jan 26 12:32:16 2018 -> ERROR: accept() failed:

    Anyone got any ideas?

    With daily.cvd was the problem. Try restore previous daily.cvd (before 26. jan) and stop freshclam service.

        I got from our server backup. Did you not have any backups?

          Hi

          @bertie if you need a backup Iíll upload one as a temp measure when Iím back later

          You could just try rename daily.cdf and see if itís been corrected

          I know thereís lots of messages about this and if you are using 9.33 beta, you need to fully remove it and install stable 9.33 which also includes cve patches

            Please that would be great if you could. I don't think we are using a beta version of it but I'll have to double check.

              Joel from Cisco has just posted there building a new daily to push out

              I would try updating after renaming daily file in about 30 minutes

              Iím not back at my office for about 2 hours or so sorry
