Adjusting SpamAssassin Default Threshold

I’m finding that most of my spam is arriving with a score of 4.0-4.9, while my threshold (for marking them as spam) is 5. Is there any way to lower this on a per-account basis in SiteWorx? I’ve tried using the SPAM_THRESHOLD configuration option, but it’s not having any affect.

Is there a recommended way to make this adjustment globally and/or on a per-account basis? Thanks!

Yep, the preference that you’re looking for is:

required_score

Use that in the preference field and a different value in the value field, for instance 4
