Web Server status always "Down"

NodeWorx always says httpd is Down despite:

root@thrawn:~# service httpd status
httpd (pid about 100 PIDs here) is running…

Is this a bug?

Do you have a 127.0.0.1 entry in your /etc/hosts file?

Yup:

127.0.0.1               thrawn.fr3d.org thrawn localhost
