  • Update list error?

In nodeWorx, when i hit refresh on the update list, I get a message that says" List update failed."

Is this anything to worry about? Are the update servers down? I dont do the auto update, im a little (lot) too paranoid (i prefer to see if the update breaks anyone else first ;))

    Try running
    yum update
on the command line as root, and see if there are any errors.

        I think you're referring to

        yum check-update

which would also be acceptable. Running

        yum update

will give you a chance to decline installing any updates, but it will go through process as check-update above.

Try it out now, the YUM archive wasn't rebuilt after the last updates sync.
