  • Nodeworx SSL

    Hi

Kudos to IW for changing the Nodeworx SSL to allow it to use a domain SSL using Lets Encrypt.

If you want to use this, see picture, goto nodeworx, server settings, SSL, create SSL, choose from drop down domain, and select domain SSL to use.

Many thanks and I hope it helps others

    John

Will it work with Comodo SSL or only with Letsencrypt?

      Hi rasa

      Welcome to IW forums

I would consider if setting nodeworx ssl to use domain ssl, then it most likely would work using a different provider

I could be wrong though sorry, but I suspect it just copied the cert into nodeworx

      Many thanks

          Hi rasa

          Many thanks

You do not register for letís encrypt, itís free but you do need to have the dns records pointing at your server for the SSL to be given

If you have not already done so, create a siteworx account for your server FQDN, then use letís encrypt for SSL on A, FTP and MX dns records. Then goto nodeworx, server, SSL and change all to use siteworx. SSL of server FQDN you just setup.

The above will auto renew when due

I think most now use this, we certainly do

          Many thanks

          John

It would be nice if that extra step\domain weren't required.
