install problem, when using virtualizor

my issue is that I’m using WHMCS to create VMs, with the provisioning being done by virtualizor. the install for interworx fails. if I manually install interworx in the VPS it still doesn’t work.

output from CLI install is:

-=-=-=-=-= Installation Complete! Next Step: License Activation! =-=-=-=-=-

To activate your license, go to
http://your-ip:2080/nodeworx/ or
https://your-ip:2443/nodeworx/
Also, check out http://www.interworx.com for news, updates, and support!

-=-=-=-=-= THANK YOU FOR USING INTERWORX! =-=-=-=-=-

if I goto http://x.x.x.x/ I get the default page for interworx, so apache is running

but this page doesn’t load:

https://x.x.x.x:2443/nodeworx/

also tried http://x.x.x.x:2080/nodeworx but that doesn’t respond either
any tips on how to debug the setup? log files? httpd conf? etc

VPS is running CentOS 6.6 x64 on OpenVZ

Hi Bruce

How much ram do you have per vps - I’m thinking it might be a ram issue

I’m sorry, memory fading, but openvz, I think this needs second level quotas enabling

I think the logs would be in ~iworx most likely logs

I hope you don’t mind my thoughts, but I probably would open support ticket and let IW have a look to see what’s happening.

Lastly, just as thought, it might be connected with your browser not accepting the self cert or ciphers, but this I think gives you a warning from within the browser.

Many thanks

John

1GB RAM. should be OK
second level quotas are enabled

I posted here as website says:

[h=3]Help Desk[/h]For our authorized-reseller partners anddirect license customers

not an issue with cert warning. browser reports: ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

will try to find some error logs

Hi Bruce

Many thanks, and good you’ve open a support ticket

My only last thought, albeit a quick one is, the firewall, does it have port 2443 open, this might explain connection refused

Appreciate if you could update your post once it’s resolved to help others

Many thanks

John

permissions problem it seems. virtualizor fixed the issue, so I can now install interworx successfully.
