SpamAssassin :: Threshold Score vs. Flagged as Spam

Hey all.

I notice that the default SA flag-as-spam score is 5.0 based on viewing inbound messages:
tail -f /var/log/maillog

I have global SA threshold set to 10 (should reject).

Am I correct in saying that messages with an SA score between 5 & 10 are marked as spam and sent to user’s Spam folder (for IMAP) or subject line rewritten (for POP3)?

Obviously I do not want everything over 5.0 to be rejected!

Thanks for the clarification…

That SHOULD be the way it works, based on my understanding.

Most likely that is what’s happening, am just concerned that interworx SA is using siteworx account level default setting of 5.0 to delete (and not flag) spam.

Should note that siteworx SA is turned off, so 5.0 score must be interworx global SA default score.

Anyway, we’ll see how it goes, thanks for the semi-confirmation
