  • Hi vmk

I hope your well and keeping safe

Please could I ask what IW actually stated as I would think IW-Jenna would have updated this thread. They are very honest and upfront

    Many thanks

  • Hi Sysnop

    Many thanks.

UK is in a little mess at moment I think, almost total country shutdown now... I believe I am classed as a key worker as we do support manufacturing companies (some make parts for food industries, mod, petrochemical etc...) but always try to work remotely...

  • Hi Sysnop

I am sorry but is there a DNS entry for server.domain.tld (where the domain.tld DNS is controlled - apologies if sounds a strange question but the domain.tld DNS maybe on a different server perhaps).

If not, this is the failure for LE SSL to create record - infact,...

    Hi Diana

    Glad to help

You may want to read through the forums for hints and tips, as your services could be rewrite to use FQDN of server (not websites etc...) eg mydomain.url/webmail (webmail) would fail on SSL but a rewrite to your FQDN server name with LE SSL would pass...

  • Hi Sysnop

    Many thanks

I think you maybe getting slightly confused over the vhost file if setting up LE SSL outside of a siteworx account

You can manually create and cron a LE SSL to be renewed without a vhost file - just needs correct DNS and a text file - no need...

  • Hi Sysnop

We use LE on our servers, and have since it was introduced. Works extremely well and so far, no issues

The best way to complete it, is to create a siteworx account for FQDN of server, create LE SSL for all records, then goto nodeworx, server, SSL, update server certificates,...

    Hi Diananashif

    Welcome to IW forums

Using Softaculous to install wordpress is probably the better way to go if you do not have good understanding of WP install but also it takes less the 1 minute to create using softaculous

I would advice you click multisite when...

    Hi Bertie

    Many thanks

I do not think that is the issue, and I think the later IW version corrects the spam connect failure (SA I believe trying to use IPV6 and/or not localhost first for connection) - I have not seen that since

I woudl restart server and test again...

    Hi Berie

Best to login to nodeworx, system, logs, mail and look at pop and smtp logs

These will give date/time stamps whereas looking at raw logs, you woudl need to convert to date/time stamps

Are they showing large wait times from a user logging in to say sending...

    Hi Richard

Sorry I had not see that sorry... I do not use social media but good on her for telling it as it is here in UK... Funny thing is, no one is admitting to stock piling but there are plenty of fights at supermarkets, with supermarkets threatening to start to ban people who are abusive....

    Hi Vinezero

I am sorry to hear that... if Ioncube is installed and loaded (as shown by php) then it is unlikely to be anything inside interworx

I would open a support ticket and let IW have a look to see what's happening

Did you run the ioncube installer for all...

    Hi Bluerayconcepts

  • Hi Sysnop

    Good questions

I think it comes down to your personal preference

We do not use network manager to control initial setup and always manually setup the nic when first install - so we do not see this issue

Both work but having separate ifcfg-eth...
