About mail server FQDN

Our server has few IPs. Our mail server has the FQDN of the first IP

This IP is blacklisted in some RBL.

If I change the MTA Mail server name (FQDN) to give another name that point to antoher IP with another reverse entry will it put the mail server on this IP ? (or will it just create a dns entry for this name if it doen’t exist) ?

Thanks for your answer ?

In others terms how can I change the IP/name of my mail server ?

Tcpserver has the host name, so it allows connections to the first IP address for that host :
Changing the name server mail doesn’t change the IP of this mail server

heu… ???
but in fact what I need is to change the qmail-send IP adress ?

For example, a domain, tell domain1.net is hosted on ip
so his mail server is on this IP

But we have these spam whom cause to have our main IP blacklisted.
It seems it uses a php script not secure which allow to send mail to anybody

What is the best way to not have this kind of problems (follow our clients, ok, but…)

arfff if tcpserver has a host name it allows connections to the first IP address for that host :\

Any way to change the IP/name/fqdn/reverse for the mail server ?
