Cron <root@host> run-parts /etc/cron.weekly problem

Here’s the email from cron running the cron.weekly procedure… any ideas?

zcat: stdout: Broken pipe

I’d check to make sure zcat is installed or do a “which zcat” and make sure it’s in the default path.

I have zcat in /bin/zcat

Any further ideas?

It looks like this is a CentOS/RH bug:

A few people posted there what they tried, and some were successfully able to eliminate the problem. In any case it seems that, apart from the annoying messages, it’s harmless.
