# DNS Server Quitting after Upgrade to 4.6.0

On 9-30-2010, interworx automatically upgraded itself on several servers, and the DNS server was OFF. Anyone else experience this problem?

In the log, you can see that djbdns was updated. A simple click on the start fixed the problem, but in the mean time, a crapload of sites were down ☹

Hi - yes, this did unfortunately happen for some servers during this update. It was actually related to a bug in the previously installed djbdns RPM - this update removed the bug, but despite our best efforts, some folks were still hit by it. It definitely won’t be a problem that repeats itself.
