After upgrading to iworx 5, we noticed some problems with our new servers… the CPU graphs are rather useless…
Our servers are running dual 16 core AMDs, giving us a total of 32 cores for the graph to list … and that produces a rather interesting issue:

Dang. Your machines are off the charts!
This needs to be fixed. I’ll file a bug for it.
It’s a 2U, 4 node SuperMicro chassi… If i had a bit more foresight, i would have virtualized our iworx machines in a openstack cloud on them… Now i will have to wait until next round of hw investment to start migrating the shared environment.
When i fired them up for the first time to check the watt drain… It sounded like a jet engine.
Previoisly, we leased servers… This was the first time we invested in our own hardware… Some lessons where learned…
