How to restart apf via shell

Hello,

Very strange problem:

/etc/rc.d/init.d/apf restart (this kills the server and causes all systems to be inaccessible)

But If i restart through the nodeworx control panel - it is fine.

Is the above command incorrect?

This is a registered service on the server so you can just do “service apf restart”

That worked - thank you!

I always did it the other way but started failing recently.

Uhm I think theres something wrong with the apf installation on that server. whenever I add an IP to deny_host it refuses to restart the apf service.

You are adding it through NodeWorx or shell?
Either way you should probably open a support ticket at this point.
