How to setup wildcard DNS?

Could anybody tell me the steps to enable wildcard DNS?

How do you mean ‘wildcard’ DNS? Stuff like *.domain.tld?

Yes, that is what i mean.

Just figured it out. You can set an A record for *.domain.tld and it will act as a wildcard.

Okay, so i don’t need to change the host config file for the domain?

That’s correct - You don’t need to change the vhost configuration, just add a DNS A record.
