If I have 100 nodes in my cluster and the cluster manager server goes down, do all sites that are on the virtual IP stop working even though 99 other servers in cluster are active?
Yes, the solution as mentioned before on these boards is not an HA solution. It will be at some point, but it’s not yet there.
