Login Prompt - Different Website

I’ve attempted to create a login prompt on a different domain, that will allow users to login to SiteWorx from our home page, but it doesn’t work. Always returns an Authentication Error.

Is there any trick to this? Maybe, the hidden uri field?

Thanks in advance,

Chris

Hi, this is what we use and it works perfect:

<!--begin login form-->

      <table width="180" border="0" cellspacing="2" cellpadding="0">
      <form action="https://siteworx.domain.tld/index.php?action=login" method="post">
        <input type="hidden" name="uri" value="">
          <tr>
            <td width="65" class="active"> E-mail:</span></td>
            <td width="130"><input class="textbox"
                     type="text"
                     id="email"
                     name="email"
                     size="17"></td>
          </tr>

          <tr>
            <td width="65" class="active"> Password:</span></td>
            <td width="130"><input class="textbox"
                     type="password"
                     name="password"
                     size="17"></td>
          </tr>
          <tr>
            <td width="65" class="active"> Domain: </span></td>

            <td width="130"><input class="textbox"
                     type="domain"
                     name="domain"
                     size="17"></td>
          </tr>
          <tr>
            <td width="65"> </td>
            <td width="130"><input type="submit"
                     name="submit"
                     class="button"
                     value="Login"></td>
          </tr>
    </form>
      </table>

<!--end login form-->

In the form you have to fill in the domain part which is not autofilled as if you use something like: https://hostded.domain.tld:2443/siteworx to get to the loginpage.

In your code, it shows the login form at:

https://siteworx.domain.tld/index.php?action=login

How are you able to send users to this URL? Our siteworx login is on port 2443.

Thanks,

Chris

Chris, we have mapped the siteworx/nodeworx ports to 80/443 on our setup using mod_proxy.

Please take a look at this thread:
