MX Records

Does NodeWorx allow someone to create MX records that look like this:
mailbu.shortconsulting.com. IN MX 10 mx6.mxmailer.com.

Yes, you can create MX records in the DNS Server section of NodeWorx.

Socheat,

I appreciate the response but that’s not what I’m looking for. I know how to create an MX record but that MX record needs to forward to another server.

Ah, sorry, misunderstood your question. What you’ll want to do is add a DNS Zone for “malibu.shortconsulting.com” and then edit the MX record for that zone.

Socheat

Could you be more specific?

You can add a new DNS Zone either by creating a new SiteWorx account with the domain in question (malibu.shortconsulting.com), or by following these instructions:

After that is complete, you would simply edit the records for that zone and add an MX record that points to mx6.mxmailer.com.

Finally had time to do what you said. We’ll see how it goes.

Thanks.

Worked like a charm. Thanks.
