Any one ever tried to migrate from plesk 6 to iworx
plesk 2.5 to iworx?

That’s way old ! … sorry no.

I did manage to migrate from 7.0 (although subdomains did not restore, and database names changed). I asume a restore from a prior 7.x release is even worse.

You will get the best results with Plesk 7

plesk 7 was a nightmare importing and if you’ve got large domains, over 1GB, you have to do them by hand. It’s not that hard, just time consuming.

Get some caffiene source and plan a late night. :slight_smile:

Jerricho is absolutely right regarding large plesk imports with 2.1.1 and before. We’ve fixed this in the next release (sorry it was too late jerricho).

Yeah, I gave SoCheat some of our Plesk 7.0.4 backups that were really big and he’s hard at work on that :slight_smile:

I could use some 7.5.0 backups as well, if anyone else would like to volunteer a few. :slight_smile:

Good news, still have a total of 120 accounts to import from our plesk boxes.

Are server-wide backups (of Plesk 7.0.4) also supported?

You can’t do a mass import from Plesk, yet. You’ll have to do them 1 at a time.
