stats and apache auto-restarts

I have noticed that when stats are updated apache is restarted, is this correct ? should this be happening ?? (once every 24hours)

I have changed the time that cron updates stats as it was 12.45pm and the sites busy at that time, now updates at midnight.

Hi Bear,

Yes this is correct. When the stats are processed, the logs are also rotated, which requires Apache to be restarted.
