I run my servers virtually and often need to launch a clone of a server to test a change / fix whatever before I do it live. If it isn’t Interworx specific there isn’t a problem but if it involves the interface I either need to take the real server off line or do a lot of engineering to get past the license issue. I would really like to have some way to have a very temporary reprieve on the license IP address checking?
For the record, if anyone needs to do something like this in the future for a short term, submit a support request and we can send you a temporary license, valid for two weeks. Though in an exact case like this, it might just be better to buy another license and install it when necessary on a “cloned” machine.
