with a lot of working being done over at rfxn, APF 2.0.2 is now available with a lot of improvements.
Could i request APF is upgraded from 1.7.6 to the latest version 2.0.2
ON another note: Any one who uses BFD (brute force detection) which works very well with APF and Interworx, BFD has also been upgraded to 2.0.2 and has been vastly improved. Be using it my self for years but this new upgrade is great. works along the lines of fail2ban but in my opinion even better.
It is on our radar already, but I can’t say for sure when we might get around to it. We’ve got some major initiatives happening right now (Exim support, Bind support, etc) that are taking up nearly all of our team’s time. Those are prerequisites for EL10 support, which again, will be a large lift.
I’ll do my best to see if we can squeeze this in the near future. Thanks for the request!
