It would be nice if the server manager received an email everytime Interworx updated. This way we could check that everything went ok.
What do you think? Is this a good idea?

It’s a good idea…unless you have 500 servers, like some of our customers 
We’re actually working on something to solve this sort of thing for either the next major release or a maintenance release - depends how deep we have to get into things. We’re working on an announcement and notification system that would be able to broadcast such messages, and let system owners broadcast to their own clients as well.
We’re leaning in the direction of publishing it as RSS - at least the InterWorx announcements - so that you could subscribe however you wanted. A “reader” will be integrated into InterWorx itself to read the feed, and you’ll be able to set up a “master” broadcast box that all your other servers can subscribe to, so you could send a message to all clients from one location.
