looking to install CentOS 6 on my server, is it supported by interworx.?
anyone already running centos 6 with interworx ?
did you experience any problems ?
thank you
Running it now, not live yet, though. I’ve experienced a few problems, but the only current one is that centos 6 uses a newer version of webalizer than iworx does, so that needs to be set to exclude. Centos 5.x is a better bet if you want something that’s been well-tested, seems like, but they age of the packages in 5.x makes that a non-starter here.
interesting, thanks for sharing your findings
cheers

Thanks for the heads up, we’ll look into this.
I’m also using iworx on a Centos 6 server, production, for more than 1 month now, apart from webalizer problem that zombie process mentioned (already posted about it before at: http://forums.interworx.com/showthread.php?t=3576 ) found no problems as well.
Note: A small issue, you can’t install iworx if you have kvm-qemu package installed (uid conflict with iworx qmail…), but apparently easy to sort it, will post about that as soon as I have time to do further tests. Anyway most will not want to run kvm on an iworx server, I guess, then not a major problem.
thank you for the info
