Change hostname and IP

Hello!

The hostname and the IP address of our server are going to be changed very soon. What is the easiest way to change them? If somebody do that before, please tell me how. Can I change the hostname in this way? I would like to skip the reinstall. Thanks for helping me!

The easiest way to change your IP is to edit /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 . The easiest way to change your hostname is to edit /etc/sysconfig/network .
