It makes the difference with free control panel among are ISPConfig, Easy Hosting Panel, GNUPanel, Webmin/Virtualmin (the free editions which miss capabilities), GPLHost, IspCP Omega, SysCP, VHCS.
Does Interworx work without a problem, including high availability and licence respectful context, in a VPS environment ?
Does Interworx allow the APF management in a cluster context ? that is, to avoid APF configuration node per node.

Actually, the Cluster Manager server is a single point of failure and so a single point of bottleneck. It seems InterWorx-CP will support High Availability (HA) Clusters one day. On a high level, will it be on 4.x or 5.x release ?
As a shared storage can eventually be “sensible”, do you consider a distributed fault tolerant file systems ? I don’t mean here a very complex infrastructure, some of them are quite “simple, Lightweight but powerful”. One example is GlusterFS http://www.gluster.com/products/features.php which would be a must to have.
I suggested VPS.NET hosting to have a look into Interworx in order for its huge customer base to have the benefits of Interworx. It could be a good idea you also contact them to propose your product.
Regarding the load balacing, LVS always comes to mind but even more with HAProxy http://haproxy.1wt.eu/. Were there a reson for not having consider it ?
We hope to investigate ha-proxy more in the future, but so far LVS has been very good for our customer’s needs

We don’t support high-availability configurations (yet). However, if you were to come up with your own high-availability VPS setup with interworx, as long as the primary IP of the interworx server was the same you would have no license issues.

I’m not sure I understand the question. It is possible to run APF with an interworx cluster, yes.

High Availablity is most definitely on the roadmap, with various possible configurations - it will be a 5.x+ version feature, not a 4.x feature. It’s a big one!

We don’t have specific examples using these kinds of filesystems with interworx yet, but we are looking into them, and we will definitely offically support them in the near future.

I spent quite a bit of time trying on my own to create an HA solution for the CM. I gave up/ran out of time. It’s certainly doable, but you have to know quite a bit about the internals of iworx itself.
HA is still under works and we don’t have a public timetable for it’s release – you will be notified when it is ready, though! And no, no ceph or other such file systems yet.
