Hello… is there anyway to change the default directory of domain and subdomain?
Hi vibol
I’m sorry, do you the default setup locations or once they have been setup.
If the latter, you should be able to change the vhost for the sitewrox account, but I have never had reason to do this, and I an not too sure if it might break anything further down the line, but I don’t think so.
If it’s just a case of changing the home location, I believe this is possible and normally is set on first install by choot.
I hope that helps a little but you may want to see if a user who has setup similar to reply, or if you aearch forum, there was a post over subdomain mapping which may help.
Many thanks
John

See!! really thz you again
I brought this forum post up to the developers. I feel this is important, and has been a feature overlooked by us several times.
They pulled up an old bug/feature requesting a better way to do this, and we brought it back in to the light.
I’ll make sure something comes out of this and keep you updated.
Thanks for bringing this up!
And nice work answering this as always, d2d4j

We’re considering how to implement making the docroot editable, and wanted to get some input from everyone on the best way to implement it.
Here’s some questions to get started:
- Is it something you’d want to be editable in NodeWorx (then only sys admins could edit) or SiteWorx (then customers could edit)?
- Is it something you’d want to be universal to all SiteWorx accounts, or should different SiteWorx accounts be able to have different docroots?
Thanks!
Hi Brett
My personal thought is nodeworx editable only and different for siteworx doctoots.
This is just do sys admins know the docroot structure of each siteworx account, which cannot be overridden by users.
Ofcourse, I maybe in the minority, but then in the past 3 years, we have only been asked this question once by a client.
Many thanks
John
