There has been talks of a DNS only install for a good 10 years or more and has not materialised. Can this be looked at and implemented, shouldn’t be to hard to create.
Shouldn’t need a license to install a DNS only either.
We already offer free single-domain licenses for those with active licenses to use as DNS-only servers. Additionally, we provide information on how to use a non-InterWorx server as a DNS-sync target here: How To: Sync iworx DNS to a Non-iworx DNS Server — InterWorx documentation Beyond that, we currently have no plans to implement any other sort of DNS-only server feature. We simply do not have the staffing to be able to support more options than we currently support. Thanks!
