Hi,

Is there any option to protect directory via sideworx panel using .htaccess?

If your siteworx account has access to the older File Manager (just called File Manager in SiteWorx, not File Manager (New) ) select the directory you want to protect and click the Protect button, you can add protection there, but not in the new file manager or in the htaccess editor in SiteWorx.

Of course, nothing is stopping you from manually creating the .htaccess and .htpasswd files and adding the appropriate entries that way. There are also online tools that can help you create the appropriate entries, and you can paste the content into the appropriate files.
