Firewall Issues

When our Firewall is active it stops all mail activity for all hosting accounts. No mail is sent or received.

When you turn it off all mail services are restored ok and operate fine.

Ports 100, 995, 143, 993 and 25 are all open.

Has anyone else experienced these issues?

Maybe the ports are not opened in your firewall iptables??
Take a look:

  • Type in the shell “setup”
  • Select “Firewall configuration”
  • Select “Customize”.

Also remember that you don’t need to enable IPTables if you got InterWorx, then you have APF as your firewall. And if you want you can install also BFD for Brute Force Detection.
