Interworx 4.0 Install Issues

Original post now closed so opening new thread.

Have followed all recommendations as per old thread. Still getting the following message

Error: Missing Dependency: interworx = 3.0.4-100.iworx is needed by package interworx-siteworx-3.0.4-100.iworx.noarch (installed)
interworx-siteworx-3.0.4-100.iworx.noarch from installed has depsolving problems
–> Missing Dependency: interworx = 3.0.4-100.iworx is needed by package interworx-siteworx-3.0.4-100.iworx.noarch (installed)

Any further ideas? Thank you in advance

The --obsoletes option should take care of this problem. Since it doesn’t appear to be for you, I’d recommend opening support ticket so we can investigate the problem here.

Thanks,

Paul

Ditto, here’s mine:

Error: Missing Dependency: libdomainkeys is needed by package interworx

Updating from CentOS 4.7 to 4.8 fixed my mcrypt dependency error, but this one won’t go away.

Hi Chris,

Just for kicks try

yum clean all

yum update

libdomainkeys should be in the interworx repository.

Paul

Same result. Here’s the output:

I’m not sure why I put rpmforge on the box, is it possible that’s causing a problem? I can’t see why it would, since the whole idea is to iterate through all the repos to find what you’re looking for, and the iworx repo is definitely there.

Chris, what happens if you just do

yum install libdomainkeys

?

Paul

When I do that, I get nothing:

[root@hosting ~]# yum install libdomainkeys

By the way, this half-updated state has somehow disabled one of my gallery-based websites. Any way we can install libdomainkeys manually to help the process along? The website owner is patient, but I’m starting to get voicemails about it.

Chris, if you open a support ticket and provide login info we’ll be glad to figure out what’s going on.

Paul

Is there a work around or fix for this? I find myself in the same boat after performing a manual uninstall of interworx. Using the install program to reinstall produces the dependency errors on interworx-phpmyadmin and a number of other related programs.

A manual uninstall tends to leave things in a less-than-ideal setup. It would probably best to open a ticket and let us gave a go at it. We’ll tell you everything we had to do to get things re-installed.
