Interworx 8 still need Alma Linux 8?

I want to setup a new long-living Interworx 8 install for my Interworx 7 server. I’m with LiquidWeb and their support and servers have fallen off a cliff, but I do love Nodeworx/Siteworx.

I’m curious if I need to setup my Hetzner server as Almalinux 8? I’d much prefer Almalinux 9 or 10, but most of the documentation I find says 8 is the only fully supported version. Is this true?

Thanks everyone

AL 9 is supported, just not CloudLinux 9 (yet).

Correct, AlmaLinux/Rocky Linux 9 are supported on InterWorx 8. Work on EL10/AlmaLinux 10/Rocky 10 has not yet started (beyond starting to sift through the mountain of work necessary).

CloudLinux 9 is now supported with IW8–the version it is fully compatible with hit the Stable branch last week, so that is all going to be announced, today
