Does some one have a tip on how to limit the number of emails sent ?

Hopefully this will be something that will be in IW 5, its well over due and badly needed.

I think we can schedule the email so that it can be limited to a certain number.

If you want to add this as a feature request, you need to do it from the ideas page, interworx.com/ideas I think.

It is then voted on, and a nice feature is it shows if it has been added.

Im pretty sure in qmail you can set rate limiting by configuring at /var/qmail/control/concurrencyremote

default is 255

You can change this to whatever you like.

then do a service smtp restart

Great post but I always thought the thread was in context of limiting emails per domain for send, incase it was sending spam

I could be wrong so apologies in advance, as rereading the title, it is ambiguous

I just followed the thread title: Limit the number of emails send :cool:

Thats what i did to limit the emails sent and stop the server getting blacklisted.

Many thanks, and I need to check incase I am wrong (very possibly) but I thought the send value could be set in IW-cp, MTA for max connections, unless I’m thinking of something else sorry
