php5 update problem

Moved to a new server and trying to update php5 but keep getting these conflict errors.
whats the easiest way to update mysql and php to the latest.
On my other server it was easy as i just removed mysql and its dependency’s and installed with the update.
As this server has interworx cp it wants to remove interworx
along with the mysql.
Any help appreciated

So, what did you have to do to correct this problem. I noticed you were trying to install 64-bit mysql libs on top of a 32-bit mysql installation.

i only managed to update php to php 5.2.6, Could not update mysql so really only part sorted.

could be the reason why i could not update mysql, will take another look

That sorted the problem out, there was a 32-bit sql package causing the problem.
removed the 32-bit and re-updated using remi
now running 64-bit mysql 5.1.36 and php 5.2.10

Excellent, I have issues like that every now and then as well. I try to run all 64-bit packages on my servers but sometimes things get a bit confused. Glad to hear the problem has been solved.
