Postmaster email account

I must have missed something, but why has a “postmaster” email account been added on most of my websites?

I have now gone through and deleted all.

The postmaster account was always there - it was just hidden from view in prior versions of InterWorx. It was there because when e-mail is set up for a domain the postmaster account is created automatically.

Since just hiding the postmaster account was confusing we decided it didn’t make much sense, which is why you saw those accounts before you deleted them.

I don’t recommend that you delete the postmaster addresses from your domain, your domains are required to receive e-mail at postmaster@domain.tld as per RFC822 6.3, RFC1123 5.2.7, and RFC2821 4.5.1.

Yes, but you cam foreward postmaster email to another email account OR creata a catch all account which would also catch the emails sent to postmaster.
