Problems Backing up a Client's Site...

Good morning.

I’m currently having a problem with a client’s site backup, and I’m hoping someone can shed some light on it for me.

Through the Interworx Backup, both through SiteWorx or NodeWorx, when I select the client and start a Full Backup, the message that’s returned is :


This in an automatic informational message to notify you that the full backup of domain was unsuccessfully completed. The backup file can be found here:


Your NodeWorx Server Manager
##LG_ERROR_WRITING_DATABASE_BACKUP## : somedomain_joomla

It’s obviously an issue with dumping the MySql database on the site, but I’m not sure as to what might be the cause…

Any thoughts?


Maybe try doing a check / repair on all the tables to make sure that isn’t causing issues. Also, make sure there is enough disk space on the account for the backup.
