Spam From MY DOMAIN!?!

Right now, my mail queue is stacked up with originating from fake e-mail address like by@mail.domain.com

Would blocking *@mail.domain.com in SpamAssassin be a good idea since mail.domain.com is a real A name? Would it hurt anything considering that no mail should ever really come from @mail.domain.com?

Hi Oaf,

Not sure if you ever got this resolved, but if you’re positive you’ll never get email from @mail.domain.com, there shouldn’t be any problems with blocking it.
