Temporary Website address

We are setting up a website for a customer.
But before he changes the DNS records from his old hosting company to us we want to install the Website and make sure everything is working OK.

Is there a temporary URL or subdomain that we can use to test everything before the customer makes the DNS change?

Thanks,

Rodrigo

Hello!

Try on http://server-ip/~username

Username is the Unix User Name of the selected account.

Thanks Adam!
I knew there must be an easy way for that.
Curiously, I could not find that in the Docs.
Thanks,

Rodrigo

This temp URL works for the Master Domain, but how about for secondary domains.
How can you access a secondary domain with a temp URL?
Thanks,

Rodrigo

I would also like to know about secondary domains.
any way we can fix that?

It would be nice to have a “Instant access domain alias” for instance:

d23480.u105.myserverdomain.com” or whatever to each domain that is added to the system.

This will solve the “access site without domain” problem altogether.
I hope this is not a tall order.
