Upgrade to 4.0?

Good afternoon.

I see that 4.0 is out, however my server hasn’t seen the update available yet and hasn’t updated. Is it still being phased in, or do I have to do something specific to trigger it?

Thanks!

I’m pretty sure your box should have auto updated by now. You could try the manual upgrade instructions from this thread http://interworx.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2969

Hi Justin. That did it. Thanks! Note : The only issue I see out of the gate was that for some reason my maximum IMAP and Secure IMAP connections were both set to 0 following the upgrade. I set them back to 250 and all appears to be working well so far. Thanks again! Phil Malmstrom philm@diamondcomputer.com

imapd killing the cpu…

Following up on the 4.0 upgrade this morning… Now, my server CPU utilization is unusually high, with imapd taking up the bulk of it. My imap users are experiencing serious slowdown and sync issues, so if anyone has any thoughts about how to improve performance please let me know. Thanks! Phil Malmstrom philm@diamondcomputer.com

Pretty weird, probably best to open a support ticket to really see what’s going on.

Have you’ve tried restarting the service and/or the server? Maybe check the rest of the IMAP settings, maybe something besides the max connections was changed?

It appears my servers all performed the upgrade last night. Had one that appears to have failed. Nodeworx and Siteworx all now only display the following error:

“Fatal error: Exception thrown without a stack frame in Unknown on line 0”

Paul fixed this by deleting the ~iworx/var/log/iworx.log and allowing it to be re-created. For some reason the permissions on that file were wacky.
