Is there a way to add a vacation / away message for email from the webmail interface? So that individual users on an account, but not at the level of having the SiteWorx login be able to do this themselves?

You can using horde webmail - login to horde and goto filters (mail - filters) vacation and input vacation and save and enable
To check, login to siteworx account, mail and check for vacation message icon
Roundcube I am not too sure about sorry but guess it will work as well
