Virus Filter Settings > Virus Definition Information not updating?

I was just checking some of my filters, and it seems the clamAV is not updating. daily.cvd 14 Dec 2006 07-58 +0000 7414 main.cvd 03 Nov 2006 19-34 +0100 73809
Is there a way to either force an update or to have the virus defs updated automatically?

My version is InterWorx-CP v2.1.3.

You can try running freshclam at the command line and see if that updates it for you.

That’s an old version of InterWorx-CP, there may be a problem auto-updating on your server. You can try manually updating on the command line by doing

yum update

Oh, I did not know that. Could the yum update command crash the server or bring the site offline if something goes wrong with the update?

I tried what you said and it updated Clam. When I tried you update it went through all the motions and then this came up

–> Running transaction check
–> Processing Dependency: libpcap.so.0.6.2 for package: snort
–> Finished Dependency Resolution
Error: Missing Dependency: libpcap.so.0.6.2 is needed by package snort

The update to the control panel did not complete. Is it because of the last line above?
